I am originally a fan of action and adventure anime fan, but after watching bakuman I realised that romance and slice of life anime just as good as battle mangas. Bakuman’s characters are pretty simple to. While they have enough depth to them to make them at least feel human, not much character exploration goes between the main two characters. There are also a lot of characters that get minimal screen time and mostly get pushed off to the side.
